Congratuations to Chris Heaton, Challenge 30 (30 Marathons in 30 days)!

The image features Chris Heaton and Peter Hill after the installation of a new painting entitled: Langdale Valley - Blea Tarn at Chris's home following the completion of an incredible challenge during September 2013 in the Lake District.

The challenge was to complete 30 marathons in 30 days alternating between the official Langdale course one day and the Windermere Course the next. Chris was desperate to record full marathon times each day which added extra pressure during this epic undertaking.

The challenge was in aid of the Brathay Trust, based in Ambleside and which is also the location of one of  the Peter Hill Fine Art Galleries.

Peter, after hearing about Chris's challenge earlier in the year, was inspired to create two stunning paintings of the area, one of which is pictured below. The painting 'Langdale Valley - Blea Tarn' struck a cord with Chris who informed us, should he complete the challenge he would be purchasing the painting.

The second painting 'View from Lingmoor' can be seen within this website and is currently for sale in the Peter Hill Fine Art Kentmere Gallery in Ambleside.

Peter Hill Fine Art are proud to have supported Chris and are pleased to annouce the Challenge rasied over £40,000 pounds for the Brathay Trust.
