Poem by Cliona Harkin

Following a recent business meeting we were introduced to a lady by the name of Cliona Harkin who kindly gave us a copy of a poem she had written. We thought it would be good to share with our visitors, we hope you like it.

Star-tinged cries

Clouds gather pace
Cut off from you, I face
A deeply blackened sky
it features star-tinged cries.

A love’s true curse
We often reimburse
ourselves
to the other.

Love spoken fills our time
Love undeclared
takes our minds.
I rest in fleeting imagery
fraught, retired dichotomy.
