Art should astonish, transmute, transfix. One must work at the tissue between truth and paranoia. - Brett Whiteley

Peter Hill Fine Art Kentmere Gallery

The Lake District is England's largest National Park and includes Windermere which is 10.5 miles long and  Wastwater  - its deepest lake at 74 metres (243 feet) which is surrounded by mountains, Red Pike, Kirk Fell, Great Gable and Scafell Pike – England’s highest mountain at 978 metres (3210 feet).

a unique national park

The Lake District National Park is famous for its stunning scenery and lives in many people’s hearts and memories but what makes it different from Britain's other National Parks are the clear lakes, tarns and rivers. The lakes and tarns give the Lake District a quality of scenery and recreational resource found nowhere else in England.

The tranquillity of the fells, valleys and lakes gives a sense of space and freedom. The evocative paintings by Peter Hill inspired by the dramatic landscape allow people to have a special piece of the Lake District in their own home.
